Anritsu Corporation and EMITE announce the expanded functionality of the over-the-air Measurement (OTA) solution, which allows measurements to be performed in accordance with the latest IEEE 802.11be wireless LAN standard.
The IEEE 802.11be standard is standardized as the successor to the IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E) standard and is designed to implement high-speed communications that significantly exceed the IEEE 802.11ax standard. The standard is expected to become a fundamental technology supporting the latest applications and services, such as ultra-high-resolution video streaming beyond 4K and AR/VR.
The MT8862A wireless test kit from Anritsu has been integrated with the entire range of anechoic and reverberation EMITE cameras (the E Series reverberation camera is an example), which allows developers to measure the total radiation power (TRP)/total isotropic sensitivity (TIS) of IEEE 802.11be devices in reproducible ambient mode. Offering integrated communication protocols and optimized performance for testing, the EMITE and Anritsu MT8862A cameras provide reliable performance of the Wi-Fi 7 devices on the market.
